Ad Agency Business Development Manager

Your role;

We're seeking an Ad Agency Business Development Manager for

You'll focus on selling our recruitment advertising services & solutions to ad agencies within a specific territory.

Your role will focus on converting ad agency leads into strategic corporate accounts that you will then go on to account manage

About us;

Coming from the media, recruitment or publishing sectors, you will be used to calling and discussing a clients' advertising campaign needs resulting in face to face meetings.

You will need to be a competent, consultative sale person who is experienced in discussing brand and performance needs with Advertising Agency Account Managers & Owners that manage big UK brands about recruitment and employer branding campaigns.

A natural researcher, you will be used to using analysis, consumer profile and performance data to convert agency queries into bookings.

Some of your responsibilities;

  • A mix of new business development and account management of both new and existing accounts;
  • Consistently achieve individual sales targets & KPI's;
  • Achieve high standards of performance in-line with business expectations;
  • Ensure best presentations of Jobsite brand in dealing with customers;
  • Establish & maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Intelligent use of systems and relationships to feedback competitor analysis and IMI to the business;
  • Keep clear and detailed records in our CRM system, SalesForce;

Your experience will ideally include as many of the following as possible;

  • Proven sales and account management expertise, ideally gained in the ad agency/advertising agency world;
  • A background in consistently meeting and exceeding targets;
  • Excellent communication skills with lots of initiative and a proactive approach;
  • Enthusiastic and driven outlook with the ability to handle fast turnarounds;
  • IT literate and analytical, with experience of analysing data;
  • Decision making skills and the ability to work independently and with others;
  • Knowledge of SalesForce and/or another CRM system would be advantageous.
